3D pinwheel tutorial

This is a very easy, nicelooking block to make. Cut 8 squares in fabrics of your choice.

My blocks are 13x13cm and the smaller ones are 11x11cm.
The smaller ones are for the pinwheel.

You can make it in any size you want, make the pinwheel smaller if you like just remember, it has to be at least 2 cm smaller than the other squares.

Fold the pinwheelsquares, fingerpress.

Fold it again and fingerpress.

pin the folded pieces on the other squares, make sure you have them in position to make a pinwheel.

Sew a small seam close to the edge

Sew blocks together and press appart.

Sew all squares together and press carefully. Turn it over and voila, a perfect 3D pinwheel.

A closeup.

Its very easy, if you try it, please leave a comment and let me see a pic in your blog.

Good luck.
